By using read.surf you agree to these terms. read.surf is operated by an individual based in Ukraine.
read.surf lets you photograph pages of foreign-language books and receive a cheatsheet of unknown words, idioms and translations, track a CEFR level, and collect quotes. Text recognition and translation are produced by automated third-party services and may contain errors; results are provided for learning assistance and without guarantee of accuracy.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method. Use the service only for content you are entitled to photograph and for lawful purposes.
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or upload unlawful content.
You keep ownership of the content you create (your photos, vocabulary and quotes). The read.surf application and brand remain ours.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, including as to the accuracy of OCR or translations. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
